So today we went to the Wildlife Experience in Denver. It was so much fun! We visited Discovery Den (this exhibit teaches kids about erosion, snowpack and water conservation). We also dicovered bats, a napping bear and other wildlife in the Wild Colorado Exhibit. They had a blast "exploring" the great outdoors, crawling into tree trunks and playing in a "river". But they had the most fun in the "Grossology" exhibit. The "smelled" fox urine, "fed ticks", learned about tapeworms and much more!! We had such a great time!
Chase learning about different bugs and stuff.
The boys "playing in the river".
Here they are "hanging out" with an elk.
Here, they crawled into a tree trunk and were hiding acorns for the winter....more like eating them!
